By Chancellor

Ed Painter, an adviser with Bolton based Chancellor Financial Management Ltd, has joined an exclusive group by becoming one of only around 300 individuals under the age of 35 to become a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the highest professional qualification issued by the Society.

Two of Chancellor’s advisers have achieved Fellowship status, Director, Grant Farnell was awarded the title earlier this year with Ed following recently.

Ed joined Chancellor 9 months ago and at that time already held Chartered Financial Planner status. With the support of Chancellor he has been able to continue to dedicate much of his time when not advising clients to studying towards his latest qualification.

Ed says “Technical knowledge is an important part of ensuring that we give the best advice possible to clients. In a world of ever changing rules and regulations it is important that our clients can be confident we have the ability to deal with what are often complex affairs’.

Grant adds: “Achieving Fellowship status at his age is a remarkable achievement. Ed’s technical knowledge is extremely impressive, as important is his ability to articulate it in an understandable and clear way to clients. Chancellor itself received corporate status in 2012 and its 4 advisers all have the Chartered Financial Planners status designation gold standard, so to have 2 of us achieve Fellowship in a short space of time as well is an incredible achievement.”
