Initial meeting
Our process starts with an initial meeting to discuss your requirements. This is our opportunity to get to know each other and see if we can add value to your situation. We’ll talk about your current financial circumstances and what you’d like to achieve in the future. This first meeting is held at our expense and usually lasts around an hour.
Review and research
If we think we’re able to help and you’re happy to proceed, we’ll start to gather all the necessary information and documentation. We’ll review your current financial affairs, including assets, liabilities, income and expenditure. We’ll also assess your attitude and tolerance to risk.
Preparing your report
Armed with information, we’ll start to build your tailored financial planning report. We’ll complete a full analysis of how your current finances sit alongside your objectives for the future and conduct research to identify the best solutions for your circumstances.
Presentation
We’ll organise a second meeting to present our recommendations to you. Our report will set out where you are now, where you’d like to be in the future and show how we recommend filling in the gaps to meet your goals. At this stage, you can decide whether you want to proceed – we’ll only do so if you’re 100% happy to.
Implementation
If you’ve given us the go-ahead, we will put your plan into action. We’ll contact the necessary providers and help you complete the paperwork associated with it. We’ll also keep you updated on the progress.
Ongoing services
Things change over time, which means to get the most value out of your plan it’s necessary to change and tweak it accordingly. Our ongoing services include at least one meeting a year, where we will review your circumstances and amend your plan to ensure it’s still fit for purpose.
