The beautiful holiday destinations our advisers are visiting this summer
The summer holiday season is upon us, and as is the norm for many businesses, a number of our staff are jetting off to lovely locations with their families.
As your financial advisers, we’ll still continue to provide the high level of service you expect from us. It’s during this time of year that we really pull together as a team!
We thought it would be nice to share some of the more exotic (and close to home) destinations that some of the Chancellor staff are visiting this summer.

Turkey seems to be a popular destination for our colleagues this year. David, one of our directors, visited Turkey in June with his family but didn’t quite get the weather he was expecting; the UK was having a heatwave, while Dave experienced quite a lot of rainy weather! He has a couple more weeks of holiday planned this summer – hopefully the weather gods will be on his side.
Administrator, Emma Gudger, is also due to visit Turkey in October for a special family birthday. We are hoping she gets more of the sun than David did. In the near future, though, Emma is going to her dad’s holiday home in Abersoch for some seaside relaxation.
Grant, another of our directors, is going on a tour of the south of France with his family. You never know, he might get the urge to buy one of those superyachts that are always anchored in Cannes!
Meanwhile, administrator Janice is off cruising the Norwegian Fjords with her family to celebrate her son’s 21st birthday. Janice went on her first cruise last year and fell in love with the experience – she already has another exotic one booked for next year!
Staying nearer to home, our administrator, Vicky, has just returned from glamping in Powys, Wales. If camping isn’t your thing, speak to Vicky about her glamping experience complete with a hot tub – a far cry from simply pitching a tent and hoping for the best!
And, even closer to our home in the north-west, Rebecca is lucky enough to have a family caravan in the Lake District that she can get to quite often. She is looking forward to spending some time there in the summer.
Back in sunny Europe, Emily had her honeymoon in Italy earlier in the year, where she stayed on a stunning vineyard in Florence. Grant’s son and our paraplanner, Sam, is due to be married in October and is honeymooning in Cyprus. We would be lying if we said we weren’t jealous!
The rest of us are taking the summer as it comes, and who knows, we might get to go somewhere more exotic than “casa mia” after all.
We hope that everyone has a lovely summer and enjoys some rest and relaxation.
