Chancellor Headlines – June 2018

By Chancellor

This June, we’ve been remembering great wedding celebrations, focusing on accessibility and kicking off a very financially centred version of World Cup fever.

That’s right – it’s the Chancellor Headlines, a hat trick of financial news for every monetary midfielder or grade-A goldkeeper.

Could you buy the England team?

We’re all backseat managers during World Cup season, especially when England come on the telly.

You know you could lead the national team to victory with more panache than Gareth Southgate – if only you were allowed in the driver’s seat.

With the right amount of cash, you could do just that. But it’ll take more than a few thrifty investments to get your hands on this year’s England national team.

We’ve dealt with some very wealthy clients in our time, but the cost of the entire national team is eye watering, setting you back 840 million Euros!

You better get saving.

A chartered marriage made in Merlot

We love a good wedding at Chancellor HQ, and that’s why we were over the moon when Ed Painter, our resident Financial Planner, tied the knot in June last year.

To make sure Ed and his wife had an amazing year together, we bought them the perfect gift – a deluxe day of wine tasting at Chapel Down, England’s leading winemakers, which they have only just got around to enjoying.

Ed loved the entire day – just don’t ask him if he remembers it all!
